2 meter social distancing fines
2-meter social distancing fines removed
You will no
longer be fined for breaking the 2-meter social distancing rule. The Federal
Council has decided the low rates of infection has removed the need of a fine.
Previously,
getting too close could have cost you CHF 100. But there was also a difficulty
in interpreting the rules clearly.
Fines
remain for groups more than 30 in public and those crossing the border for an
insufficiently important reason, such as shopping.
Private
events are allowed to have up to 300 from tomorrow.
