owners frustrated over social distancing hypocrisy
Restaurant
owners are becoming increasingly frustrated about social distancing rules,
which is cutting the capacity of their businesses, when thousands continue to
demonstrate on the streets.
The
Vice-President of the umbrella organization, GastroLausanne, Antoine Piguet
says the instructions are chaotic and it's threatening jobs.
He says
while the majority of owners are law-abiding, he would not be surprised if some
start to ignore the rules.
A survey by
GasroSuisse shows 87% of restaurants showed a loss at the end of May.
