More infections and Zurich club closed
The latest
numbers from the Federal Health Office show there were 550 new infections in
the last 24 hours with 18 people being admitted to hospital.
A night
club in Zurich is being blamed for an outbreak. The cantonal health department
has ordered it to be closed for the next two weeks – but has not named the
venue.
The rules
allowing gatherings of more than a 1,000 people have been clarified. Each event
has to get permission ahead of time and seats have to be prebooked with the
details of the ticket holder.
For
standing events will only be approved in exceptional cases.
